Fireworks

Atlas Fireworks of Jaffrey, NH always delights with their great displays. Join us for the parade at 5:15 pm and then the first of two displays at 5:30 pm. Launched from Brewster Academy Field the Best viewing is at the town dock. Then at Midnight we bring in the New Year with our very own Ball Drop and a second display of fireworks.

Gary Sredzienski

Hamster Races

Andrew Pinard – Alejandro’s Olde Tyme Magik Showe

A returning favorite of First Night Wolfeboro audiences, Andrew Pinard presents Alejandro’s Olde Tyme Magik Showe–a wonder-filled one-man stand-up show with an emphasis on audience participation, visual magic, and physical comedy guaranteed to amuse the whole family. Blending magic, story-telling and comedy with a little help from volunteer assistants, Andrew Pinard draws spectators into his zany world of wonder. McAuliffe-Shepard Planetarium Telescope

Hoping for better skies this year, we bring back the Planetarium Telescope for your night sky viewing, complete with an instructor from the planetarium to explain it all. BREWSTER FIELD at Main & Center St. intersection (Pickering Corner) 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Mountain Lake Chorale

We welcome back this 13 member singing group. They will be performing songs ranging from patriotic to jazz, spiritual and pop from the 40’s & 50’s, choral music from Rutter to J.S. Bach. ANDERSON HALL (S. Main Street – Brewster Campus) 9:30 pm

Moose Mountain Jazz Band

Parade

Everyone is invited to join in the fun as the brand new First Night Puppets parade from First Christian Church (N. Main Street) down Main Street to the Town Docks. 5:15 pm– 5:30 pm followed by Fireworks.

Shawn Middleton

Tuftonboro Country Blue Grass & Gospel Jam

One of, if not the best, pick-up band in the Lakes Region. Every year they bring a happy sound of Country, Blue Grass and Gospel music to First Night. ESTABROOK HALL (Academy Drive – Brewster Campus) 6:30 pm & 7:30 pm

Walleye Clue Chase

A fun contest for all ages beginning at noon. Pick up your clue sheet between noon and 4:00 pm and then head out around town to see how fast you can solve all of the clues. Return to Headquarters to have your sheets graded for both time and accuracy. Prizes will be awarded. HEADQUARTERS (RR Station) Noon – 4:00 pm.

Wildlife Encounters

Once again the Granite State Traveling Zoo will be bringing a vanload of unique and interesting animals for your pleasure and education. ANDERSON HALL (S. Main Street – Brewster Campus) Shows 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Wolfeboro Chamber Music Ensemble
